Enjoy tasty Garda at “Garda con Gusto” event
Active life and culinary suggestions look like a perfect pair. Garda Trentino’s frequent visitors already know it, though a new events falls just a few days ahead of Half Marathon to disclose such a pleasure to anyone. A whole weekend – from 23 to 25 of October at Riva del Garda’s Palameeting) dedicated to the flavour of “carne salada” will give the opportunity of a tasty journey discovering the Northern Garda’s best wine and food.
The “carne salada” is the undisputable excellence of regional cooking, the very first branded “De.Co.” certified recipe of Northern Garda and Ledro area.
“Garda con Gusto” features a worth exploring village joined to an exciting party with dinner shows, tastings, show cookings, contests and workshops managed by the local Academy and Slow Food.
The “Carne Salada”, lean meat with its ruby-red-tone and aromatic fragrance, will be in the spotlight throughout a tasty course enhanced by old recipes and combinations with further typical products of Northern Garda, such as extra olive oil, sauces, vegetables and selected local wines.
At “Garda con Gusto” booths all these products will be on sale while knowing more about their history and experiencing the skills of special guest chef Cristian Bertol (dinner show, on Saturday 24th) and Simone Rugiati (show cooking on Sunday 25th).
