Summer continues thanks to the Garda Trentino Half Marathon

Lovers of outdoor sports will enjoy the long summer of Garda Trentino without forgetting that the active holiday never ends in this area blessed by the beauty of nature and famous for its great hospitality. Water, rocks, climate, culture, traditions, infrastructure, a flawless organization, all these pose an irresistible attraction for all lovers of active holidays, who can return here even when the summer will be over, having already marked in their agenda the appointment of the Garda Trentino Half Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, November 8th.

Since 2002, this event highlights the natural beauty of the area, achieving a huge degree of success that has helped it being recognized abroad as one of the best and most popular half marathons worldwide, especially for the beauty of the area in which it takes place.

The 21-km long route starts from Palafiere, Riva del Garda, goes through the city and then up along the river Sarca, straight to Arco. The course returns near the river, with the last three kilometers taking the participants on the bike path along the north shore of Lake Garda to the beautiful and spectacular finale in Piazza Garibaldi, in the historic center of Riva del Garda.

With its 4200 competitors that took part in the latest edition and the extensive event calendar (the 10K, the 21K Fitwalking & non-competitive Nordic Walking) and Expo, which in 2014 reached almost 10.000 visitors, the Garda Trentino Half Marathon is an excellent opportunity to fall in love with this area and appreciate the variety and quality of its touristic package.
